Mama’s Minerals Albuquerque is the Southwest’s Largest Bead and Rock Shop, with over 7,000 square feet of amazing beads, minerals, fossils, and much more. Our Santa Fe Plaza store will impress you with striking decorator pieces, affordable gift items, and a fun kids’ corner. Striking Gemstone Jewelry is available at both locations.

Closely related to squid and cuttlefish, these mollusks went extinct along with the dinosaurs. The spiral shape of their fossilized shells inspired the name Ammonite, after the Egyptian god Ammon, who was depicted wearing Rams' horns.

Not only are they old and historically interesting, but some of them are dazzlingly beautiful, with the original shell preserved and still exhibiting iridescence. Talk about bang for your buck!
