Dominican Amber Carved Cross Pendant with Sterling Silver wire wrapped bail
This high quality amber pendant is frozen in time through a process called polymerization and carved into a wonderful cross. It has a simple sterling silver wire-wrapped bail, and would look nice with a simple chain or a cord.
Dominican Amber is the fossilized resin of the Hymenea protera, a now-extinct coniferous tree that once flourished throughout the region. Dominican Amber differs from Baltic Amber in that it is almost always transparent.
