Two to four times a year Mama's Minerals^® plays host to Artscrawl, Albuquerque's monthly self-guided gallery tour that is designed to acquaint you with Albuquerque's art and artists. With the help and participation of local businesses from three geographical areas of the city [Northeast Heights, Historic Central Avenue (Route 66), and Old Town], Artscrawl promotes special events such as exhibition openings, artists' receptions and demonstrations, benefits, and open houses. The gallery hopping that takes place during an Artscrawl enables you to observe and enjoy fine art, ask gallery owners questions about collecting, and to meet the artists and learn about their techniques.
