Fluorescent Rock

The Fluorescent Rock we offer here comes from the Dictator Mine in Sierra County in New Mexico, and while it appears to be mottled grey, brown, tan, and/or beige under ordinary light, under short-wave light it appears as neon red-orange! The fluorescence is provided by tiny calcite crystals that are embedded in the rocks, which range in size from 3/4" x 1" x 1-1/4" to 3/4 x 1-1/4" x 1-3/4".
