The Feng Shui of FountainsTabletop fountains, which have recently gained much popularity, have long been a staple of good Feng Shui design. In addition to soothing, relaxing sound, a tabletop fountain brings water's energy of movement, flow and cleansing to your home, as well as enhancing the "color energy" of your environment.
Like everything in Feng Shui, a fountain is a very personal expression. My own personal collection includes vessels or containers in a variety of colors, as well as rocks, mineral specimens, and even iridescent marbles. I rearrange the elements to reflect the seasons, including floral motifs in the spring and summer, and switching to a more monochromatic color scheme during the winter months. It's also very important to keep your fountain running clean and pure in order to gain maximum benefit.
As a "special feature" or focal point in your home, a tabletop fountain can also help to keep the ch'i (life energy), circulating in a refreshing and invigorating manner. This is crucial, because good ch'i in your environment has a wide range of benefits, including enhancing your prosperity!
Keep the ch'i refreshed in your home by building your own Feng Shui fountain. Check out our versatile and inexpensive fountain kits.
