This Small Trilobite Plaque features an
Elrathia kingii trilobite atop a dark grey
matrix. From the Middle-Cambrian Period, these fossilized
trilobites are approximately 550 million years old! The
trilobite measures 3/4" long and 1/2" wide; dimensions of
the plaque are approximately 2-3/4" across, 2-1/2" high, and
1/4" thick. From the Wheeler Formation in Millard County,
Utah, this item is highly collectable because of its finely
detailed fossil.
Trilobites, which are similar to the modern-day Horseshoe Crab, were among the first arthropods. They lived in ancient seas and their fossil remains are found all over the world. Scroll down to view Related Products.
