This beautiful synthetic Faceted Alexandrite Gemstone is uniquely stunning. Natural alexandrite is so rare and expensive that synthetic alexandrite is made to supply the demand. Under natural light it is a dazzling deep green with light green refractions; under artificial light, depending on the wavelength, it may change to a smoky blue, red, fuchsia, or light aqua (as shown in the above photo). This precious stone measures 5mm across, 5mm high, and 4mm deep. It has been cut and faceted into a rectangular shape and is ready to be set into a pendant or ring.
