Coprolite Happens! Coprolites -- or fossilized animal
dung -- seem to be absolutely fascinating to nearly
everyone. Maybe it's because we so strongly associate
fossils with museums that it's hard to believe animal
droppings were preserved in fossilized form, too. Or
perhaps it's simply the difference between what our eyes
tell us ("poop!") and what our hands and nose tell us
("rock!"). The Coprolites we're offering are "only" about
25 million years old (much younger than dinosaur
Coprolites!). The sizes in our collection vary, of
course, but these Coprolites basically look as if they
could've been left by a modern-day cat -- they're each
approximately 1 to 1-1/2" long. Whatever it is that
fascinates you about Coprolite, we think you'll agree
