Limestone is a sedimentary rock that is most often formed
from the calcerous remains of ancient sea creatures and
is found in areas that were once ocean floor, long ago.
This limestone from Pakistan is 72 to 135 million years old and virtually teeming with
fossilized snails, coral, clams, turritella, and other
ancient and mysterious creatures! Our bowls are carefully
hand-carved so as to maximize the beauty and classic
designs of the fossils within, and come in three sizes,
for display or practical use. The neutral tones and
fascinating patterns make them a natural choice for home
decorating with a flair that will be noticed!
Each Large Fossiliferous Limestone Bowl is
unique, and measures approximately 5-7/8" in diameter and
