This Yellow Calcite Shard from China is small-sized and a
glowing, golden yellow color that’s unique in the mineral
kingdom. Each shard is a product of Mother Nature and
varies in size and shape, but the one you receive will
measure from 1/2" to 1-5/8" wide, 1 to 2" long, and
1/2 to 5/8" deep. Most exhibit wonderful translucence,
graduated coloration, and fascinating inclusions and
mini-fractures, which create a wonderful universe of
crystalline planes. This mineral specimen has been
acid-dipped, which gives it a glossy finish and makes it
more durable.
Calcite often fluoresces under
shortwave fluorescent light -- these shards fluoresce bright yellow,
and phosphoresce green! Metaphysically, Calcite helps alleviate
fear, balance male and female polarities, reduce stress,
