Celestite (strontium sulfate) has a sky (or celestial) blue
color that is unique in the mineral kingdom. The Small
Celestite Geode/Cluster we offer here comes from Madagascar and
displays small to medium tabular, highly prismatic, exceptionally clear
crystals ranging in size from 1/8 to 3/8" cubed. The
specimen you receive will be similar in quality and appearance to the one shown in the above photo and measure approximately 3 to 3-1/2" across, 1-3/4 to 2" deep,
and 1 to 1-1/2" thick (at its widest points).
