Sandstone is sedimentary rock composed of sand-sized quartz
and feldspar which are the most common minerals in the earth's
crust. These tiny grains of sand are usually cemented together by
calcite, clay, iron oxide, or silica and often form interesting
layers that create pictures or scenes.
Each half of our Picture Sandstone Bookends measures about 3-3/4" across,
6-3/4" tall, and 2" deep. The bottoms and interior faces are covered with
soft grey felt to protect your furniture and books. They will make a
distinctive addition to your office, living room, or library! Sandstone is often said
