The stunning appearance of this 180-205 million-year-old
Petrified Fern Log Slice from Araguana, Brazil makes it a
natural piece of art. Originating from the Tietea
singularis fern that flourished in the Permian Age,
this irregularly-shaped slice shows a dramatic cellular
central area that's surrounded by
colorful bands of minerals displaying more refined organic
structures. The outer edge retains the look of the original
bark. The natural colors include pale shades of gray, rose,
peach, beige, and brown, all painted in unique and
intriguing patterns. This slice is polished
on both sides and measures approximately 7" across, 5-1/2" wide,
