Our Tumble-Polished Petrified Wood from Grants, New Mexico features beautiful desert hues of pink, orange, red, beige, tan, and gray. This medium-sized "rock" is highly polished via tumbling to show off the wonderful coloration and natural patterns, which may resemble the wood from which it was permineralized. Mineral replacement is mostly agate. The piece you receive will range in size from 7/8 to 1-1/4" wide, 1-1/8 to 2" long, and 1/4 to 3/4" high and be similar in quality and appearance to those shown in the above photo.
