Selenite is a white, crystalline form of Gypsum that is often
described as having a moon-like glow -- hence the name,
from the Greek "selene," meaning moon. The luster and
smooth, polished edges of these slabs from Morocco make
them ideal meditation pieces.
Due to the natural variations in selenite formation, these slabs display
fascinating inclusions and vary in size and shape
considerably. You will receive one that is similar to
those shown, and measures from 2 to 3" long, 1-3/4 to 2" wide, and 3/8" thick.
