While it's more correctly called Marlstone or Marlite, a
quick glance at its distinctive whorls explains the
better-known name of Burma Teak. The lined and knotty
wood-like designs were created when iron seeped into
natural fractures as the stone formed more than 250
million years ago. The warm earthtones will match nearly
any room; these bowls are available in three sizes for
either decorating or practical use.
Each extra-small Burma Teak Bowl (shown in
the above photo) is unique, and measures approximately
3" diameter and 1-1/4" high.
