Silicon carbide is the abrasive of choice for tumbling because it has a Moh's hardness of 8+, incredible longevity, and is quite effective. This 320 Silicon Carbide Tumbling Grit has a medium grain and is typically the first step in the tumbling process.

Especially useful for getting a high polish while tumbling glass.
