Blue Halite specimen measuring approximately 1-3/8" wide by 1-1/4"  by 2-1/4" tall.

This Amazing  Halite comes from the Pot Ash Mines located in Carlsbad, New Mexico.

Halite or "rock salt" when totally pure is normally colorless but due to impurities it frequently occurs in a variety of colors. The deep blue and violet coloration may be attributed to the mineral syvite's potassium-40 atom which is radioactive causing bombardment of gamma rays causing a deformation of the crystal structure of the halite.

Blue Halite is said to stimulate the Third Eye and Crown Chakra.
