Angelite Palm Stone - Peru

This Angelite palm stone features a lovely, soft sky blue color, which inspired the name "Angelite." It is formed into a pleasing, soft shape with rounded edges which can be used for massage, as a type of worry stone, or as a simple accent on your desk.

Dimensions:  Approximately 1.5" x 2"

Color:  Powdery sky blue

Mineralogy:  Angelite is a form of anhydrite from Peru which comes in varying tones of gray and light blue. With a Mohs’ hardness of H=3.5, it is a favorite of stone carvers for its ease of carving and beautiful color.  Angelite is most commonly massive, but is rarely found as tabular, prismatic crystals.   

Metaphysical: Angelite is said to calm frayed nerves, foster enlightened communication, and enhance decision-making. That's very likely, given the wonderful sky blue color and the sheer radiance of the mineral!
