Metaphysical Properties: Citrine is believed to be a fantastic aid in driving and fostering the internal creative force. Emotionally it opens us up to optimistic possibilities, and physically it is thought to assist in digestion and metabolism.
Mineralogical Properties: Citrine is a variety of quartz that gains its yellow shades from a submicroscopic distribution of colloidal ferric hydroxide impurities. It is primarily produced in Brazil. Most citrine on the market is heat treated to a bright yellow-orange to orange-brown color. Natural citrine is hard to find commercially and is a yellow-grey color.
