The cross is a timeless symbol found throughout the Southwest, woven into the region's art, architecture, history, and traditions. In this workshop, you'll explore the form as a piece of wearable art while learning simple wire-wrapping techniques to create your own unique designs.
Using 18g and 24g jewelry wire, you'll shape and wrap your own crosses and incorporate gemstone beads to add color, texture, and personality. You'll create three finished pieces—choose to make a pair of earrings, three pendants, or a combination of designs. Pendants can be finished with a linen necklace for an easy, natural look.
This quick and approachable workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced makers alike. Whether your cross represents personal meaning, family tradition, Southwestern heritage, or simply a love of beautiful handmade jewelry, you'll have the freedom to make the design your own.

Cancellations:
If you are unable to attend your class, your registration fee will be refunded as store credit to your Mama's Minerals Rockin' Rewards account.
Late Arrivals:
To ensure everyone has the best class experience, instruction begins promptly at the scheduled start time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the class begins, you may not be able to join the class, as important instruction has already taken place. In this case, your class fee will be issued as store credit to your Rockin' Rewards account.
