In Japanese aesthetics and traditions, wrapping can express affection, protection, care, and respect for the object being wrapped.
Using cord and traditional-style knotting techniques, you'll learn how to wrap and secure a natural stone while creating a beautiful presentation that allows the character of the stone to remain the focus.
We'll take inspiration from the meditative qualities of this craft while learning the techniques step-by-step. It's a wonderful opportunity to slow down, connect with a natural object, and explore a different way of appreciating the stones we collect.
