Mineralogy: Angelite is a form of anhydrite from Peru which comes in varying tones of gray and light blue. With a Mohs’ hardness of H=3.5, it is a favorite of stone carvers for its ease of carving and beautiful color. Angelite is most commonly massive, but is rarely found as tabular, prismatic crystals.
Metaphysical: Angelite is said to calm frayed nerves, foster enlightened communication, and enhance decision-making. It is said to help ground angelic work on the earth. It makes it easier to communicate with higher realms of consciousness. It resonates with the throat chakra, third eye chakra and the crown chakra.
