Chakra Stones

When reading a book about the healing power of stones, the reader usually encounters many stones with very similar qualities, especially if the stones are the same color. The reason for this is that the color of the stone is associated with different chakras, or centers of subtle energy in our bodies that can affect our health and well-being. It is, in fact, the color of the stone that is its most defining feature, and also decides what area of the body (emotional and physical) it will govern.

Once a person understands what colors govern each chakra, they can guess what emotional and physical ailments a stone of that corresponding color can heal. Placing stones that are the colors of the chakra on the body can greatly help calm and balance a person’s energy, and enhance their well-being.
